ntfy (Push notifications)
ntfy is a simple HTTP-based pub-sub notification service. With ntfy, you can send notifications to your phone or desktop via scripts from any computer, without having to sign up or pay any fees.
ntfy can also be used as notification push service for the Element Android client, instead of relying on Google Push services. This has some limitations, as ntfy can't wake up / start the android app, meaning both ntfy and element have to run in the background.
WARNING
The default ntfy.sh endpoint won't work as provider for push notifications on our matrix server. They seemingly have blocked Hetzner or other VPS providers.
